Let the hp war begin

Subaru recently announced that the 2009 WRX will get a revamp in its performance and handling. Bad news to all those 08 wrx fan-boys(I'm obviously an evo fan) becuase the 09 will be receive the same 2.5 liter engine but with an increase in 41 hp and 18 lb. of torque over the 08 version bringing the final numbers out to 265 hp and 244 lb. torque. Why the sudden revamp? Oh yeah, remember that preview of the Mitsubishi Ralliart I posted a few weeks back? Sounds like Subaru's desperately trying to compete. Nice work Subaru but I don't care how much more hp you crank out of that boxer engine it still looks like a Ford Focus on steroids.

W00T!

THANKS!!! Glad you like "The Ruler" t-shirt.

So this past week there's been a lot of scavenging done by me on the internet for all the up to date info on Comic Con....yes Comic Con...millions of dollars are spent each year by major studios hoping to be able to create buzz on all upcoming projects because the attendees at Comic Con are the "cult fans" the ones who will stick to a franchise forever and are the one's willing to spend the $$ to buy 18 different versions of the same movie just released in different versions *cough* Star Wars (haha) and to my surprise I found many updates on films like Max Payne (rumored to hit a PG-13 rating!?!?! wtf), The Watchmen (very interesting concept sick ass trailer...hopefully will live up to the hype unlike 300), The Punisher (wtf no Thomas Jane?), and lastly this little gem
Photobucket

Now you're wondering...."wtf isn't that Korean pop sensation Rain?" Yes. It is. Wonderful observation! But wtf is he starring in that looks great? Ninja Assassin by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta). Why is this good news? Because I love Ninjas, and I am of Korean descent so it's always cool to see Koreans or Asians in general taking on leading roles in Hollywood rather then fulfilling a lame stereotype where we are normally placed as comedic relief...when you prick us do we not bleed?

Photobucket

More info about ninjas can be found here

I've been getting a lot of e-mails recently about our webstore and its lack of updates....WELL! I am sorry but we are putting our stock on hold until we are able to ship out all of our accounts' orders....please be patient

Henry and Phillip came over yesterday to discuss fall/winter and begin the preliminary
process of voting for the best designs and since Robert decided to go to the Philippines on vacation (if you're reading this you better be taking nice pictures) he doesn't get a say in the decision...."tough luck...there's always Fubu" and just to be extra douches we purposefully picked all the designs he probably won't like haha! Funny how the business end of our spectrum always has something to say on how the creative end should be ran....how does that happen (haha)? But yeah in the middle of our meeting I came down with a horrible case of the munchies and since my mommy came down to visit me with a tub full of leftover ribs she made I was more then willing to accept her gift on behalf of my hunger
Photobucket
mmm ribs and pb & j

OLE! gas prices have somewhat declined

Lookbook

Check it out.

big thanks to Project McFly for providing us with the song!! we are going to be pre loading this into a USB to show to our potential Japanese Distributors...THAT'S RIGHT! We are going to Japan!

The Dark Knight is easily one of the best movies I have ever seen......never have I seen a summer blockbuster that forces you to focus on the cinematography and acting over the loud special effects and action sequences....granted it did have kick ass action sequences but when I think back to The Dark Knight the only scenes that keep replaying back in my head is when Batman is interrogating the Joker and when Two Face is forcing Jim Gordon to choose between his family on who gets killed. You guys all probably all heard already but you have to watch it on IMAX. (A-)

Addressing an issue: So...I was misinformed about Super Cr3w wearing our gear last week...= \ I was told it's actually happening this week......so tomorrow! (I will believe it when I see it...I am not promising anything!)

Bryan the coordinator of H-Town Sneaker Summit contacted Henry back in April to ask us to contribute to this sneaker expo. Since 3/4 of us are sneaker heads we jumped on this opportunity instantaneously. So! If your in Houston, Texas on August 8, 2008 go and check it out.

Justin over at undergroundmarauders.com recently did an interview with us and posted it up on his blog......in case you guys haven't seen it yet go and check it out!

Really random too....wtf 1tshirtsworld.com contributor Cici wrote about 102 great clothing companies and included us at #76 right under CBR (Cardboard Robot)....THANKS Cici.

And lastly....Super Cr3w from America's Best Dance Crew is going to be wearing our stuff during their rehearsal tonight on the show.

How does this happen....

Malibu Castle Park

So! As I promised we went down to Torrance because Jubien told us about an awesome spot to take a photo shoot at.....at first Henry, Phillip, and I were hesitant because gas is a bitch! But when he told us it was an abandoned miniature golf course we immediately changed our mind and hit the road in hopes to see something reminiscent of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

Eating at Tomboy's...yes Jubien is pulling a Hitler

Big thanks to Jubien and Project McFly for pulling through for us!

So I finally made enough money to spare so I can purchase the new Bobby Digital (RZA) ablum: Digi Snacks and I have to say it's his strongest album yet under Bobby Digital....makes you wonder if he was focusing more on this then 8 Diagrams...NO! good thoughts...good thoughts. One of the more noteworthy songs on it is Good Night I can't stop listening to it and if I am not mistaken I could've sworn I heard the beat from "Can't Stop Me Now" from MF Doom as King Geedorah's ablum....

Anyways, have a safe weekend all!

Project McFly

About a month back Jubien contacted us on Myspace to compliment our designs and that he picked up our Cash Money Tee from Workmen's, in turn we went on his Myspace to see what he was all about and noticed he's not a "one man show" he's part of a rap collective known as Project McFly. So, we met up with them at one of their concerts and talked.....and talked and then they came to our office and we talked some more and now we are doing a photoshoot with them for us to show to our Japanese distributors! Here are some samples of them wearing our tees...MORE PICS TO COME!

Sunday, July 6, 2008

Hey thanks for showing up

-sigh- I hate late shipments......we still haven't gotten "Life's a gamble" tee or the "Purpman" tee in yet...it's really starting to hurt when our accounts put in large orders for both. So, for now we sit...with our thumbs up our butts.

I saw The Incredible Hulk & Wanted. Hulk was alright (B-) certainly a step up from the predecessor even though this one felt like a re-vamp of the franchise so I don't know if I even should be comparing the two, but I do have to say the last 20mins of the movie was a complete fan service! Especially when he pommels Abomination with the police cars until there's nothing left of the vehicle. I don't understand why they even tease me with Tony Stark appearing in the film to hint at The Avengers...bastards. They even introduce the villain "The Leader" in the movie in the form of Tim Blake Nelson (O, Brother Where Art Thou) as a college university professor who gets exposure to the radiation....so I guess there will be a sequel. Wanted (B+) was really awesome! Completely over the top but what do you expect from a comic book adaptation? It even had an adrenaline fueled soundtrack of heavy metal etc. what you would expect with the cinematography being all ADHD status from Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch). By far though the culmination of the entire movie other then the bullet time cinematography was when Angelina Jolie came out of her healing bath and you see her entire backside....
Photobucket
(sadly google doesn't have the booty shot)

What is it with America and glamorizing abnormal transgender behavior? I saw this video on Youtube and did a double take because the girl's name is Derrick. When it comes down to it, IT'S JUST ANOTHER CELEBRITY IMPERSONATOR was a standing ovation necessary?

Derrick has more video clips on youtube that's hitting views in the millions.

Oh yeah...Megan Fox (ultimate power in the universe) called off her engagement....."So you're telling me there's a chance!"
